I know most of you have seen movies where you have this psychotic character that has a room full of various assault weapons, grenades, and explosives.  The sight can be a little overwhelming.  Imagine experiencing that in real life.

The other day, a friend of mine introduced me to a friend of his.  My buddy was always telling me about his armory room.  I figured that the guy maybe had a few guns on display on a wall or maybe was just a military themed room.

Then I walked into the room.  Lined up on every wall were different types of guns.  P90’s,  M16’s, AK47’s, and just about any weapon you could imagine.  There were even sniper rifles and grenade launchers.  My first reaction was to back away slowly and get out of the house.  I then noticed that several of the weapons had the identifying marks on them that are required by law to mark guns as toys.

When I pointed this out, the guy that owned them told me that his guns were primarily airsoft guns.   Most of the guns were paintball guns that were made by manufacturers such as tokyo marui.  Certain guns, such as his kwa guns looked identical to the real articles.

In the end, I found out that out of the over 50 guns that he had on display, only about 8 were actually genuine.  In the end, he wasn’t a psycho, he was just a hardcore airsoft gamer.
