There is nothing quite like sleeping in when you have a big test at school, but somehow I have managed to do just that.  Not only is it frustrating (since I was going to brush up on things before I left home), but now I have to go do the exam on an empty stomach, which isn’t good at all.

But that seems to be the pattern of life for me since I picked this school out of the handful of chef schools that I short listed to be on my wish list.  It wasn’t easy picking out one out of the many culinary arts institutes across the country, but after much deliberation, I went with this one.

From an education point of view, the teaching has been second to none, and I feel that the price they charge for the caliber of school is too low (just don’t tell them that).  I especially love our instructors, and their patience, but also their dedication to making us the best chefs we can be – it is a good feeling to know that your instructors actually care if you succeed or not.

But enough of this rambling, time to transfer busses so time to put the laptop away.  I should arrive to the school just in time for the test – wish me luck!
